As the sun was rising in the morning of January 31, 2014, APT team was at Mawlana University preparing the rooms for Azadi Debate Tournament. It wasn not long before twenty teams from three universities (Mawalana, Ibn-e Sina, and Balkh) arrived on campus ready to begin!

APT sponsors eight Afghan students to the WUDC (World University Debate Championship) in December 26 2013 -4 January 2014 in Chennai India. The World Universities Debating Championships (a.k.a. "Worlds" or "the WUDC") is the largest,most prestigious and most international competition in intercollegiate debating. It is for the first time that Afghan students debate in WUDC.
